Is Halloween: The Game out?
Yes. Full digital launch was September 8, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Epic. Digital Deluxe opened September 4 at 9:00 AM PT.
What did Patch 1.0.1 change?
Crossplay parties now follow the leader into matchmade lobbies. NPC pathing, stamina, escape discovery range, perk-deck copy limits, and several killer/civilian bugs were also patched. Details are on the beginner and multiplayer guides.
Is it multiplayer only?
No. It has a standalone Michael Myers story campaign plus 1v4 multiplayer. Play the campaign first — it is the actual tutorial for Shape Jump and Stalk.
How many multiplayer maps launch?
Four: East Haddonfield, Haddonfield Heights, Orange Grove Estates, and Haddonfield Town Center.
How many civilians are in Standard Edition?
Ten are confirmed for Standard Edition at launch.
Who are the Deluxe civilians?
Richard and Alexis.
Does the game have crossplay?
Yes, across launch platforms. Patch 1.0.1 made crossplay party members follow the leader into a matchmade lobby instead of getting dumped to the menu.
Does it have cross-progression?
A July developer Q&A said there are currently no plans for cross-progression.
Can duplicate civilians be used?
Yes. The developer Q&A says private/public lobbies can allow duplicate civilian picks.
How many story chapters are there?
Six chapters are confirmed. Patch 1.0.1 fixed the Chapter 5 completion achievement not awarding.
Does story mode have multiple endings?

No. He can be knocked down and, with enough police and a completed arrest minigame, detained and sent back to Smith’s Grove.
What happens after a civilian dies?
A player can return as a Sheriff’s Deputy or Dr. Loomis and continue supporting the team. That role is how arrests start.

Launch types include cellars, gates and vehicles. Tower Farm adds a sewer escape. Locations and required loot change between matches.
Why won’t Shape Jump activate?
Michael can normally enter or leave Shape Jump only in darkness or outside a resident’s line of sight. If the key does nothing, you are lit, watched, or too close. Reality Tear bypasses that rule but now staggers Michael on exit.
What are Michael’s starting traits?
Killer Sense and Shape Jump. You then pick three special abilities. Reality Tear, Detection Pulse and Blackout are the officially revealed set this site tables.

There are Profile, Killer, Civilian and Weapon level tracks, plus challenges and prestige. Early Access logins before 9:00 AM PST on September 8 get 5000 Perk Points (may be delayed).
How do perk cards work?
Matches award perk points used to roll cards, build decks and temporarily upgrade cards. Patch 1.0.1 caps a deck at two copies of the same perk.
Is there a best civilian yet?
Choose around your role and current perk deck; traits and team coordination matter more than a universal ranking.
Is there an interactive map?
No. Fixed spawn pins would be misleading because items and possible exits can change between matches.
Are the screenshots on this site real?
Guide screenshots are official game media. The site icon is original generated branding and is not presented as game footage.
Is this an official site?
No. This is an independent fan guide and is not affiliated with the game publishers or rights holders.

It is a crash-fix pass for Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC: Quick Resume crashes on Xbox, a Performance Mode shader crash on Series X, a crash while Grabbing, crashes from certain gameplay interactions, and crashes with DLSS and FSR frame generation.
