Halloween: The Game launched September 8, 2026. Deluxe access was September 4. Patch 1.0.1 fixes crossplay parties. EA logins before 9 AM PST Sept 8 get 5000 Perk Points.

The short answer

Halloween: The Game is live. Full digital launch was September 8, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Epic Games Store. Digital Deluxe opened four days early on September 4 at 9:00 AM PT. Steam no longer lists Coming Soon (checked September 9, 2026).

Patch 1.0.1 (launch day) fixes crossplay parties being dropped from matchmade lobbies, and tunes NPC pathing (including Police getting stuck). Players who logged in during Early Access before 9:00 AM PST on September 8 are granted 5000 Perk Points; official note says the points may take extra time to appear.

What happened on September 4

The Deluxe window was the first broad public access. The Early Access weekend ran into the September 8 launch. Treat demo and preview footage as stale where 1.0.1 or later notes contradict it.

Platforms

The confirmed launch platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. There is no PS4 or Xbox One launch listing. Specs and crossplay notes are on the PC & platforms page.

Buying only for early access?

Deluxe four-day access already happened (September 4–8). Remaining Deluxe extras are Richard and Alexis and the Inmate Michael Myers skin. Compare that against the price premium on the editions page.
